The NL-FF flame hardening tunnel is fitted with 6 automatic propane gas burners. Flame hardening (superficial heating of some hundredths of millimetres) is carried out is such a way as to have efficient melting of the last surface and perfect stamping ink absorption.
The last, without any halo or stain, looks particularly bright and is better from an aesthetic point of view. Gas is supplied by means of an automatic ignition system, which makes start-up operations as well as the actual system functioning easier.
The high productivity of the machine and the band bringing the flamed last back to the lower part of the tunnel enable a single operator to carry out the following operations: stamping, flaming, and finished last collection. An economiser reduces to a minimum the gas consumption during machining intervals and it allows operators to keep the flame-hardening tunnel always ready for the lasts to be flamed. A fan cools the lasts at the tunnels outlet and an adequate suction system exhausts the harmful smokes and gases from the work area.
All Newlast products are CE marked and produced in full respect for the workers and the surrounding environments safety.
